| Diabetica, f/k/a Xilas Medical, is a dynamic, privately held medical device company based in San Antonio, Texas. We have developed products that address the three key areas for the diabetic patient's feet; temperature assessment, friction reduction, and neuropathy or nerve damage evaluation. Our products have been developed internally and have been tested and verified through clinical studies funded by the National Institutes of Health and the Veterans Administration. Future pipeline products may be continuations of our core products that enhance remote access to data and expand the interaction between patient and physician. Our products have passed muster with the FDA and coverage decisions from several private insurers.
