| Hyperion was founded in 1998 and was certified in 2005 by the Small Business Administration of the federal government, as a small disadvantaged business (8a).
Hyperion is based in San Antonio, Texas and performs most of its scientific research effort at Brooks City-Base located approximately 6 miles south of downtown.
Our research efforts have been funded by contracts with the Department of Defense (DoD). Hyperion has active programs in the area of biomarker discovery, wound healing, performance enhancement, infectious disease treatment and other topics related to homeland security. The goal of Hyperion is to develop intellectual property that can ultimately be used to manufacture products that are useful to the military and the private sector. |
